Casual Functions & Events Supervisor

The Fresh Collective are looking for a passionate Casual Functions & Events Supervisor to join their growing team. Delivering quality service and exceptional client experiences at some of Sydney’s most stunning venues and exclusive events – including the Art Gallery of NSW and the Walsh Bay Precinct.

As a supervisor, you will support the Events Service Team with the daily running of functions & events.

The Role

  • Receive briefings from the Venue and Event Managers prior to the event
  • Deliver exceptional client & guests experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
  • Oversee service-related aspects of an event from set up, through to service and pack down
  • Lead a team of experienced waiters and bartenders
  • Support and work closely with the service management team
  • Must be available between Tuesday – Friday, with Thursdays a must
  • Hours fluctuate weekly based on event schedules
  • 10–30 hours per week; minimum availability of 3 days/evenings per week
  • Casual rates – Level 5

About You

  • Minimum 1-year experience in hospitality in a team leader/supervisor capacity
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid NSW RSA
  • Valid working rights in Australia 
  • A passion for executing amazing events!
